    According to Section 203 of the Income Tax Act, an employer must deduct the TDS if their income is taxable. Every individual who generates a taxable income is eligible to get Form 16.

    Any salaried person who has their TDS their employer is eligible to fill out the Form 16. This form helps to provide the correct details of the tax deducted and salary to the employee.

      If you get income from house rents and the tenant deducts TDS before the rent payment, then you should provide you with a Form 16.

      According to the Income Tax Act, 1961, if you provided tax deduction at source by the employer, any salaried employee's tax is deducted, then the employer will be eligible to get the Form 16 under the category of TDS.
